The Competition for District 15

Your job as a voter or potential supporter of a candidate is to decide what they stand for and if their positions are positions that you want to support and encourage in our leadership. You need as much information as possible. That information so far is very hard to obtain from most of our candidates. Most of the candidate's web sites do not have any specific information on their values, their positions, their views - you cannot tell where their heart is. That makes it pretty hard to know if they are someone you want to support with your time, your money, and your vote.

Although some advisors have told me to be more vague in my material, I disagree. If I am going to ask for your trust to support my candidacy for congress, I have to open myself to you so that you know where I stand and what fire burns in my belly that will make me work for you. You need to feel secure in the knowledge that I am not doing this just to further a political career or earn influence for later trading in for riches.
